	Preply is a language learning app and e-learning platform that connects over 140,000 tutors teaching 50 languages in 203 countries worldwide with the concept of one-to-one human tutoring.&#38;nbsp;I’ve worked with the brand for a period of 6 months on developing their brand strategy together with the team, and transforming that strategy into visual concepts and creatives that will shape their internal and external identity in a world of increasing competition in the language learning world.

	Our design concept is based on Preply’s purpose: to Connect people through learning (a bit like Nokia). The brand identity builds on the speech bubble hidden in the letter P that’s always going to be the most recognizable element of the icon.

	Preply is all about language learning, online lessons and connection, so it took us a while to land on the right expression for the brand icon. From more literal to abstract icons, there was a balance to be found between something unique and special, and something instantly recognizable.

last 4 years on everything from logo and
identity design, to creating integrated
campaigns, production guidelines, and
working really closely with their local team,

local teams, where we worked on immersion
sessions, vision and principles workshops,
wireframes, testing and coming up with a

	foodpanda was given a bright and bold signature colour pink, offering a wide range of expression. Rich in contrast for accessibility, the colour was carefully developed to set foodpanda apart from its competitors. When analysing the competitive landscape, noone was using pink as a brand colour in all the regions.&#38;nbsp;

	A bold but controlled display typeface, gave foodpanda the perfect voice to communicate the engaging tone of voice, across all screens and mediums. It provides human warmth and a personal sensibility to the brand. Combined with a pragmatic and highly functional sans serif to maximise legibility on smaller copy, the typopgraphy strikes a balance between human warmth and technical precision.

	 In the Creative Circle we decided it was time to give the Blink covers the treatment they deserve, as they are each made by so many people with a lot of dedication and love, and the covers should be a visual representation of all this effort as well. It’s worth mentioning that this project was done completely remote, with people from around the globe in different continents and in various timezones.

Although the brand has been one of the strongest in the Latin American region, with new brands like UberEats and Rappi coming to the market, PedidosYa approached our team with a two-fold brief - define a strong brand positioning to stand out from the crowd with a modern and vibrant brand, and also align the different markets and countries under a unified brand.

	Research has shown that people still perceive the brand as doing only restaurant delivery, something that was underlined even more by the fact that the previous logo had a fork symbol in it.

After pursuing a few different territories for the logo direction, the local management team decided to go with the concept of speed of delivery, and PedidosYa as one super-app for all online purchases as the vision for the future.

	02— Stand out from the competition
	As the competition is getting stronger, so was the difficulty to stand out in a chromatic way, especially in the already busy streets of the five Latin American capitals, where Glovo and Rappi were going strong with Yellow and Orange palettes, and PedidosYa only had the colour Red to work with.

Althought the research has shown us that PYa red still had a lot of Brand equity and was something the team wanted to preserve, there was definitely a need to expand the colour palette and add more meaning to each of the four new colours.

03— Deliver Consistency


	One of the biggest issues the brand has been facing is design consistency across all channels, so it was important to create not only a strong brand device but also a system and metaphor that would bring out the best of the new brand positioning and also create a simple way for the local design team to play around the creatives.

	By dividing the logo into a grid of concentric lines, we created a simple series of 5 shapes, that used in different colours and ‘levels’ would create the system we wanted to have.

We came up with their new Brand Book we call ‘Red de Transporte’, reflecting the Latin american metro system with each chapter representing a line and each piece in the brand guidelines representing a station.

	With the new colours and patterns in place, we rebranded all the assets they were using across marketing, in offline and online creatives to reflect the new brand and be able to compete with the ever-increasing new brands in the market.

Onlinepizza is one of the oldest food delivery brands in the Nordics. Founded in 2004, it has grown to be the most trusted and beloved online food ordering platform in Sweden.


With more than 2,000 partnering restaurants, Onlinepizza continues to innovate and grow everyday and approached the team in summer 2017 with a request for a modern rebrand and repositioning.

A clear market leader
The first phase of our rebranding project entailed extensive market research. We gathered data to understand exactly who was using Onlinepizza. The brand was the clear leader in Sweden for top of mind and aided awareness. The brand was also leading the market for ease of use - and was perceived to be a brand for everyone, not as a modern brand.Based on these insights we worked closely with the local management and marketing team to further cement Onlinepizza’s positioning as a brand for everyone. A great choice for every moment and every customer.

	Swedish design at its finest

The Onlinepizza logo was dated an in need of modernization. We constructed a new logotype using a combination of an icon and typographic logo using Bergen Sans - a contemporary nordic font.

	Besides the typeface, we designed a brand new colour palette consisting of the bold and striking Ruby Red, Nivea Blue and cool, calming Cloudy Grey, colors used across all product and marketing touchpoints.

A Brand New Device


By choosing different shapes of the logo and pairing them with the cusine types, we created connectivity across the materials. This subtle brand device is used as a driver in both our marketing and product communication, and because both the dishes as the device take a circular form, our customers know it’s Onlinepizza.

A Friend BookTo be sure the whole Onlinepizza team was totally aligned with the new brand positioning values, and identity we built a brand book for every team member to own. In-keeping with the brand’s friendly personality, we designed a concept that is instantly recognizable as a keepsake shared amongst friends.

	TRXD Norway
	TRXD is a Norwegian production duo signed to Sony Music, who approached me recently to work on their new identity and come up with a system that could be used to promote their new releases in all different materials online and offline.






Animated music video for their first single on the new album, called ‘Knock knock’ 
developed in collaboration with the super talented Ed Hendry.&#38;nbsp;
