Onlinepizza Sweden
Onlinepizza is one of the oldest food delivery brands in the Nordics. Founded in 2004, it has grown to be the most trusted and beloved online food ordering platform in Sweden.

With more than 2,000 partnering restaurants, Onlinepizza continues to innovate and grow everyday and approached the team in summer 2017 with a request for a modern rebrand and repositioning.



A clear market leader

The first phase of our rebranding project entailed extensive market research. We gathered data to understand exactly who was using Onlinepizza. The brand was the clear leader in Sweden for top of mind and aided awareness. The brand was also leading the market for ease of use - and was perceived to be a brand for everyone, not as a modern brand.

Based on these insights we worked closely with the local management and marketing team to further cement Onlinepizza’s positioning as a brand for everyone. A great choice for every moment and every customer.





Swedish design at its finest

The Onlinepizza logo was dated an in need of modernization. We constructed a new logotype using a combination of an icon and typographic logo using Bergen Sans - a contemporary nordic font.




Besides the typeface, we designed a brand new colour palette consisting of the bold and striking Ruby Red, Nivea Blue and cool, calming Cloudy Grey, colors used across all product and marketing touchpoints.




A Brand New Device

By choosing different shapes of the logo and pairing them with the cusine types, we created connectivity across the materials. This subtle brand device is used as a driver in both our marketing and product communication, and because both the dishes as the device take a circular form, our customers know it’s Onlinepizza.




A Friend Book

To be sure the whole Onlinepizza team was totally aligned with the new brand positioning values, and identity we built a brand book for every team member to own. In-keeping with the brand’s friendly personality, we designed a concept that is instantly recognizable as a keepsake shared amongst friends.
