Blinkist
Blinkist offers the best selection of nonfiction knowledge, all in an app that makes it easy to fit learning into your life. Through audio and text explainers called Blinks, original podcasts, and author-driven content, Blinkist is on a mission to help people turn ordinary moments into extraordinary learning opportunities—anytime, anywhere.
As Creative Director of the Creative Circle, I lead our team for 15 months on developing our current identity, refreshing our brand strategy, and transforming that strategy onto our app, with visual concepts and creatives that will shape their internal and external identity.

With Shortcasts, we’re working directly with podcast creators to help you discover the most essential nuggets from their back catalogues. A Shortcast is a short version of a podcast episode crafted around its key ideas. Each episode is curated and built in collaboration with the podcaster to make sure it’s true to their unique voice, style and ideas. Launching in collaboration with an impressive roster of creators such as Malcolm Gladwell, Dr. Laurie Santos, Natalie Lue.

In all the Shortcast excitement, Apple reached out to Blinkist with an offer to collaborate on a new feature that will put Shortcasts in the spotlight on the Apple Podcast app.

We also worked with the popular UK host Dan Snow and his podcast History Hit (UK's number one history podcast) on a 360 campaign to promote our new format.

Through ideation sessions and workshops with the content team, we rebooted our social media channels with new content strategy, videos and a big network of wonderful illustrators, you can see more on our instagram profile.

How did we design 4700+ customer covers in one month?

In the Creative Circle we decided it was time to give the Blink covers the treatment they deserve, as they are each made by so many people with a lot of dedication and love, and the covers should be a visual representation of all this effort as well. It’s worth mentioning that this project was done completely remote, with people from around the globe in different continents and in various timezones.
